Jennifer Hudson on The Graham Norton Show

Not long finished watching US singer, and The Voice UK coach/star, Jennifer Hudson perform her latest single Remember Me on The Graham Norton Show. It doesn’t sound all that bad, bit of a slow starter if I’m being honest, but non-the-less her voice sounds good. It does pick up some pace after about 20 seconds thereabouts. Can’t say I was impressed to be honest but credit where it’s due she has got a really good voice full of soul and she does hit the high-note. Nice touch with the violins in the background.

The debut album from new artist Stevie McCrorie who won the fourth series of The Voice UK (team Ricky). For a debut album this is brilliant and demonstrates what a great artist @steviemccrorie is in the making. 11 tracks, McCrorie is an artist to keep your eye on. Congratulations to Kevin Simm on winning The Voice UK 2016. I watched two of his performances and I admit I was impressed by his efforts as a solo artist, I am tempted to buy his debut album. Well done on your win Kevin.

Since his win I have had people say that because of his stint in Liberty X that he shouldn’t have been allowed on the show. My honest opinion is that that shouldn’t really have mattered much because many of the contacts that he made during his time in the band probably weren’t even his. And let’s face it there are many girl-groups/boy-bands out there who probably aren’t calling 100% of the shots were they’re careers are concerned.
