Currently listening to Busted perform on the Graham Norton Show on BBC1 right now, and I admit they don’t sound all that bad. Their new single ‘On What You’re On’ sounds like a whole different new league as compared to what they’ve done in the past, a lot more grown up as compared to their very first. I admit it’s officially beginning to grow on me. If that’s what an 11 year absence does to your music it was obviously a good thing then.

Robbie Williams on The Graham Norton Show
Party Like a Russian, the name of Robbie Williams new track and I’ve just heard it on The Graham Norton Show on BBC1 and I’ve got to admit even I liked it. The song itself sounds raw, energised and abstract. A female member of the audience got a pleasant (ish) surprise when Robbie sat on her lap, some people get all the luck don’t they. The performance itself was eye-catching and had some authentic Russian vocals on it, even the backing band looked authentic in their attire. If anything you could almost class this as a potential Bond song. Even though I’m not much of a fan I quite liked it.
Iggy Pop on The Graham Norton Show
Just been watching Iggy Pop on The Graham Norton Show on BBC1 performing his new single, Sunday. All I can say his that even after 4 decades in the music industry he’s still got it. Total rock and roll and I have to admit that I had to switch back and forth between BBC 1 & 2 to catch a live glimpse of him. And for all of two minutes it was worth it, and he even gets right in there with the audience. Seriously, not many artists actually do that these days which is a bit of a shame, just makes the performance worth watching
Tom Odell on The Graham Norton Show
Just been watching Tom Odell perform his latest single ‘Magnetised’ on The Graham Norton Show on BBC1, what an absolute tune. I loved it. Odell is an amazing artist in the making and that was one fantastic live performance tonight. Tom will be performing at Glastonbury the is year, look forward to hearing him singing this song. Taken from his new album Wrong Crowd, if any of the other songs are as good as Magnetised then I’m definitely getting the album.
Corinne Bailey Rae on The Graham Norton Show
Just watched over four minutes of Corinne Bailey Rae performing her new single ‘Stop Where You Are’ on The Graham Norton Show right now on BBC1. What a performance and an amazing song. She’s one talented woman who’s got that soulful, soothing voice that can speak emotions and is incredible to listen to. I love it. For a song that’s over 4 minutes long you’re gonna like it after just one. If soul/R&B is your thing, then I’d definitely recommend Bailey Rae for your playlist. Taken from her new album The Heart Speaks in Whispers. I’ve absolutely loved her since she released her very first debut single and still love her now. If her new single’s anything to go by then I’m definitely going to get the album.
The Pet Shop Boys on The Graham Norton Show
Just been listening to the Pet Shop Boys perform their latest single “Pop Kids” on the Graham Norton Show, it actually sounds really good. Though their sound’s more 80’s/90’s it still sounds good today. Neil Tennant still sounds as good as ever. I may end up being tempted to buy the album if the rest of the album’s any good.
