Robbie Williams Rocks Big Ben Live
Not long been watching the ever-talented cheeky chappie that is Robbie Williams perform in the lead up to the Big Ben countdown to the London firework display on BBC1. Good’ol Robbie performed some of his hit tracks including Angels, Let Me Entertain You and last years’ release Party Like a Russian and Come Undone. Best of all he’s still on now if you want to watch. All that’s left to say now is

Pete Tong on The Graham Norton Show
Watched the legendary Radio 1 DJ that is non other than Pete Tong himself play and amazing set on The Graham Norton Show on BBC1 earlier (just last year). A perfect mix of dance and classical and even had the singer Cookie (guest singer from The Shapeshifters) to perform the hit ‘Lola’s Theme’. Absolutely amazing and a perfect reminder of why the songs are great and why Pete Tong’s a LEGEND!!!

Alex Adair
“Make Me Feel Better”
No actual explanation need for this other than it’s an amazing dance tune and was released in March 2015 and still sounds great now. This is one of those songs that could easily go into your summer playlist and you’d probably not get bored of it. The video itself was made in L.A and features 3 young women dancing in front of an ever-changing screen in various locations.
Paradis
“Toi Et Moi”
This was released this year and is by French duo Paradis, is 3 minutes 42 seconds long and is sung entirely in French. It’s actually quite a good dance track which has an good ambient sound to it. The video to this uses red lighting and shows people dancing including the duo, Paradis, themselves performing in a disco setting. It’s a perfect mix of dance and ambient.
Stromae
“Alors On Danse” (Eng tran: Then We Dance)
Originally released in 2009 by Rwandan/Belgian artist/producer Stromae, is a great dance track that’s just under 4 minutes and is sung entirely in Belgian. The song itself is great and the video is done a in single-person perspective; it basically begins with a man who finishes work and goes out to forget his problems, ends up in a bar, sing before a crowd before passing out and is dragged back to work.

George Michael Is Dead
The British singer George Michael who shot to fame in the 80’s as part of the group Wham! died on the 25th December 2016 at the age of 53. RIP George Michael, you’ll be sorely missed by many, many people and we’ll always remember you and your music.

Katie Melua on The Graham Norton Show
Just watching Katie Melua perform her new single ‘The Little Swallow’ with The Gori Women’s Choir on BBC1 at the moment. Granted it starts off on a slow pace before Katie’s voice gradually seeps through, ironically it doesn’t so much as cut through and dominate the other voices but just goes alongside them. A very gospel performance and surprisingly short. The singe’s from her new album In Winter. Though she’s got a great voice can’t say I thought that much of it I’m afraid.
